Coots, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged with the offense of Obtaining Merchandise by Means and Use of a False and Bogus Check, After Former Conviction of a Felony, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971, § 1541.2, and was tried and convicted in the District Court, Oklahoma County, Case No. CRF-75-2831.
