Defendant was convicted by a jury of issuing a bad check and theft by deception, under Sections 76-6-505 and 76-6-405, respectively, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended, and sentenced by the District Court for Salt Lake County, to the indeterminate term of one to fifteen years.
