MANOUKIAN, Justice:

Appellant, charged by indictment with murder, pursuant to plea negotiations, entered a plea of guilty to second degree murder. During the sentencing proceedings, he was permitted to withdraw his plea of guilty, after which he entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.
