Eminent domain proceedings instituted by the appellant, Mississippi State Highway Commission (Commission herein) condemning certain land of Marvin Waller and wife, Mrs. Mary Waller (landowners, appellees) went to judgment in a special court in Lafayette County. The jury (as instructed) returned two verdicts: one for $36,700 damages related to the land taking, and another for $15,000 representing relocation assistance pertaining to appellees...
