Defendant was indicted for murder and, after a bench trial, was found guilty of the lesser included offense of voluntary manslaughter (Ill.Rev.Stat.1973, ch. 38, par. 9-2(b)) and was sentenced to a term of 4-12 years. On appeal, he contends (1) that the court erred in finding him guilty of voluntary manslaughter on an accountability theory; and (2) that the State failed to sustain its burden of proof after its evidence raised the issue...
