In mid-June 1975, the Providence Gas Company (the company) filed a revised schedule of tariffs with the Public Utilities Commission (the commission) which was designed to increase the company's annual revenues by an additional $6.3 million. The commission, acting pursuant to G.L. 1956 (1969 Reenactment) § 39-3-11, as amended by P.L. 1969, ch. 240, § 5, suspended the proposed effective date of the new schedule and thereafter...
