In this criminal appeal, we examine the evidence to determine whether it is sufficient to convict the defendant of larceny by false pretenses. We also consider whether duly-attested abstracts of civil money judgments against the defendant were admissible as evidence in this criminal trial and whether the defendant was prejudiced by references made during the trial to a proceeding in which defendant was adjudicated a bankrupt.
