BRAUCHER, J.

The defendant was indicted for murder, assault with intent to murder while armed, and unlawfully carrying a firearm on his person. Convicted of murder in the second degree and of the assault and firearm charges, he was sentenced to life imprisonment on the murder conviction, a concurrent eighteen to twenty years on the assault charge, and four to five years, from and after the life imprisonment, on the firearm charge. His motion for a new trial was denied...
