This suit was brought by plaintiff (Getz) against defendant (Equitable) to recover long-term disability benefits for claimed total disability commencing September 28, 1973. The claim was made pursuant to the disability income provisions of a group life insurance policy issued to Sandia Corporation (Sandia) by Equitable.
