Margaret Hicks Baumgardner, as plaintiff, filed a motion for judgment in the trial court against Philip B. Reid, defendant, for personal injuries sustained in an automobile accident which occurred in the Town of Christiansburg on June 28, 1973. Reid admitted liability and, pursuant to the provisions of Code § 8-237 (Repl. Vol. 1957), paid into court the sum of $2,715.50.
