1. (a) The State Court of Cobb County was created as the Civil and Criminal Court of Cobb County in 1964 (Ga. L. 1964, p. 3211) with misdemeanor jurisdiction in criminal cases; in civil cases of over $300 the practice and procedure was specified the same as in the superior courts. Its name was changed to the State Court of Cobb County by Ga. L. 1970, p. 679, as it came within the Act specifying the practice and procedure of certain courts below...
