Plaintiff-appellant Stanray Corporation (Stanray) initiated this action on May 31, 1972 when it filed its Complaint to Foreclose Mechanic's Lien against defendant Horizon Construction, Inc. (Horizon). The lien was claimed on improved "Lot Number Forty-four (44) in Broadmoore Terrace Addition, Revised, an Addition to the City of Indianapolis" (Lot 44), owned by Horizon.
