Defendant, Steven Pfeiffer, and codefendant, Richard Pfeiffer, were indicted for two counts of aggravated battery under section 12-4(b)(6) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 12-4(b)(6)) and for resisting or obstructing a peace officer. After a jury trial in which defendant was tried with codefendant, defendant was found guilty of one count of aggravated battery...
