Plaintiff appeals from the direction of a verdict in favor of the defendant and the denial of the plaintiff's motion for new trial. The plaintiff had brought a damage suit against the defendant under the family purpose car doctrine. The trial judge found that there was no evidence to sustain the plaintiff's allegations that the car was being used for a family purpose and on that basis alone directed a verdict in favor of the defendant.
