This suit arises out of a contract between Anderson Development Corporation and Coastal States Crude Gathering Company. Anderson agreed to construct two steel pipelines from Damon, in Brazoria County, to Webster Junction, in Harris County. Anderson sued to recover damages for breach of contract, payment of retainage withheld by Coastal, and payment on an invoice for work performed.
