FRIEDMAN, J.

Opinion on rehearing. A jury trial resulted in defendant's conviction of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and use of a firearm in the commission of both offenses. He appeals, charging erroneous denial of his motion to suppress.

The victim was William Karr, an informer whose undercover work had led to several narcotics convictions in Nevada County...
