Defendant was charged with first-degree murder, MCLA 750.316; MSA 28.548, and thereafter pled guilty on April 2, 1975, to the lesser included offense of second-degree murder, MCLA 750.317; MSA 28.549. Defendant was sentenced on April 29, 1975, to a term of from 20 to 30 years in prison. He appeals as of right and raises two issues for consideration by this Court.
