The Case

This is a suit for damages, both compensatory and punitive, for false arrest, wrongful imprisonment and malicious prosecution.

The case was tried to a jury on December 4, 1975, before Honorable Stephen North, Judge of the Fifth Circuit Court of Davidson County, Tennessee, and resulted in a verdict and judgment for $1,000.00 compensatory and $10,000.00 punitive damages, or a total of $11,000.00...
