At about 8:00 PM on December 16, 1971, Mrs. Helen Prattini and her daughter, Rhonda, were in the family automobile stopped in a line of traffic on Canal Street, facing north just beyond the intersection with Royal Street, when their automobile was struck by a bus owned by New Orleans Public Service, Inc. and operated by its employee, Lawrence Whorton, Jr. This suit was filed for damages sustained by the Prattinis...
