RAPER, Justice.

In the district court, plaintiffs-appellants filed an action against defendants-appellees for specific performance of a written contract by which the defendants' decedent, Laura Higgins, purportedly agreed to sell land located in Johnson County, Wyoming, to plaintiffs or, in the alternative, for damages for breach of contract. This appeal followed a judgment of the district court adverse to plaintiffs.
