It is undisputed that on June 3, 1972 the decedent fell and sustained a compensable accidental injury to his left side chest. The treating physician diagnosed the injury as a contusion to the chest and rib cage and he was permitted to return to work on June 27, 1972 with his condition noted as "improved".
