The appellant was tried and convicted in the Circuit Court of Tuscaloosa County upon an indictment charging him with receiving and concealing stolen property, in this case a misdemeanor. Upon the jury's finding of guilt as charged in the indictment and fixing no fine, the trial judge sentenced appellant to imprisonment in the Tuscaloosa County jail for a term of six months.
