The defendant, Robert Westmoreland, is before us both by way of an appeal and by way of common law certiorari. He seeks a reversal of a judgment entered in the Superior Court denying and dismissing an appeal he had taken from an earlier denial by a judge of the District Court of a motion to remove a default judgment that had been entered against him in the District Court.
