Appellant, Larry Don Evans, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged, tried and convicted in the District Court, Caddo County, Case No. CRM-74-681, for the offense of Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971, § 540A.
