This appeal concerns property taken for levee purposes and its value. Plaintiff, Kenneth Taylor, filed suit, individually, and as agent and attorney-in-fact for D. M. Wood, a co-owner of Ogden Plantation, against defendant, the Board of Levee Commissioners of the Tensas Basin Levee District, asking $8,600 for 3.44 acres of land in Catahoula Parish which the defendant levee district appropriated.
