Following a jury trial, the defendant was convicted of theft of over $150 and sentenced to a term of not less than one year and not more than 3 years' imprisonment. He appeals, contending that the prosecutor's argument that his claim of insanity was a "last ditch defense" deprived him of a fair trial.
