The plaintiff, Richard Kim, was employed by the defendant, Frank Raymond, d/b/a The Raycor Construction Company, whose business was constructing and remodeling residences. In June 1972, Raymond and Kim were on the roof of a house owned by Raymond and his wife as sole beneficiaries of a land trust held in the name of the First National Bank of Evanston.
