Defendant was charged with promoting a detrimental drug in the first degree. Counsel was appointed for defendant upon the ground that he was financially unable to obtain private counsel. A plea of guilty to the reduced charge of promoting a detrimental drug in the second degree was accepted by the court, and defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for one year, of which nine months was suspended.
