This appeal is from a judgment of the Superior Court rendered in several actions which were consolidated for trial and appeal. While the cases are independent of the case of Board of Police Commissioners v. White, 171 Conn. 553, 370 A.2d 1070, which we also decide this day, the issues in all the cases are closely related and our decision in the White case...
