This is an expropriation suit arising out of the widening and improving of Highway 167, known as the Jonesboro-Hodge Highway. The district court awarded the defendant-landowner the total sum of $34,746.75 as just compensation, itemized as $24,396.75 for the property taken based on a finding of 10,843 square feet taken at a value of $2.25 per square foot, and $10,350 as severance...
