In December, 1973, the plaintiffs-appellants, the Greater Baton Rouge Airport District, the City of Baton Rouge and the Parish of East Baton Rouge, brought this action to expropriate an avigation servitude on an 11.234 acre tract of land. This 11.234 acres, located on the east side of Plank Road directly opposite Ryan Airport, is part of a 500 acre tract owned by the defendants-appellees, Mrs. Florence Hobgood Hays, Edward Chase Hobgood, Herbert Wright...
