This appeal arises out of a conviction for murder, wherein the jury assessed punishment at life imprisonment.

This appeal presents, among other things, the question of whether an accessory1 is still an accomplice witness so as to require corroboration of such witness' testimony in light of the provisions of the 1974 Penal Code.
