The petitioner, Reuben Cornelious Johnson, Jr., has filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in this court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Mr. Johnson is currently serving an eight year sentence, pursuant to a judgment of the Circuit Court for the City of Lynchburg, imposed on July 29, 1975, for larceny.
