On April 11, 1975, a juvenile hearing was held on a petition dated February 19, 1975, filed against Child X. It was averred in the petition that X had committed the offense of larceny on or around June 26, 1972. Based on these averments, X moved for dismissal of the hearings on the ground that the statute of limitations for larceny had elapsed prior to the filing of the petition.
