Respondent, Harrah Realty Co. owned certain real property adjoining Lake Tahoe. In 1971, Harrah contracted with Stolte, Inc., a general contractor, for the construction of certain improvements on the property. Stolte engaged Terry Construction Company to perform the excavation work.
