Defendant was charged and found guilty in a jury trial of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor in violation of section 11-501 of the Motor Vehicle Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-501). Judgment was entered on the verdict and defendant was fined $250 and costs. Defendant appeals his conviction.
