Several personal injury and wrongful death claims were consolidated for trial. We adopt the trial judge's written reasons concerning the consolidation and factual situations relative thereto as follows:

"These four consolidated lawsuits result from a one-car accident which occurred on October 7, 1973, at approximately 2:30 A.M. on Louisiana Highway 498 (England Drive), a two-lane highway in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, at a point 1.1 miles...
