Defendant Ronnie Dale Carroll was convicted of the forcible rape of his 70-year-old aunt. A jury trial was waived, and the court found defendant guilty and assessed punishment at 25 years imprisonment. In this appeal defendant contends the trial court erred in denying his motions for a continuance and for a hearing on his psychiatric examination.
