In this action the plaintiff (Avant) sought, among other things, an accounting of amounts (termed "sales commissions") which, it claimed, were owed by the defendant (Tech Ridge) under a written agreement. The case was referred to a master whose report was confirmed; a judgment was entered which (so far as relevant) was in the amount of $68,661.67, plus interest, in favor of Avant.
