This case involves the eminent domain power of the appellant under Amendment 35 of the Arkansas Constitution (1874). Appellant brought suit in the circuit court to condemn 143.76 acres of appellees' lands pursuant to the authority of that Amendment. The land sought to be condemned is adjacent to approximately 34,000 acres of land (the Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area) owned and managed by appellant.
