The appellant was found guilty by a jury of second degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. On this appeal, the main point urged is that the trial court erred in denying the public defender's withdrawal as counsel for the defendant, thereby forcing the defendant to proceed without the effective aid of counsel.
