Appellant, Charles Ewing, pleaded guilty to a charge of carrying a pistol without a license in violation of the Uniform Firearms Act. The plea resulted from a plea bargain whereby the state agreed to recommend an executed five year sentence and dismiss several other felony charges pending against Ewing.
