Defendant was charged with the assault of a police officer, contravening MCLA 750.81; MSA 28.276, on October 26, 1973. The trial court granted a motion for discovery of all information held by the prosecution regarding this case. The corporation counsel for the City of Detroit objected to the discovery of statements of witnesses held by the Citizens Complaint Bureau, an agency within the Detroit Police Department...
