Plaintiff-appellant, Edward Dintelman, filed suit against defendant-appellee under the Structural Work Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 48, par. 60 et seq.) for damages he sustained when he fell from a scaffold while working on a structure owned by defendant. In plaintiff's amended complaint, he alleged that defendant owned the premises and was in charge of the construction...
