This appeal concerns the interpretation and constitutionality of the Iowa criminal trespass legislation, chapter 274, Acts of the Sixty-fourth General Assembly (1971), now chapter 729, The Code, 1975.

Defendant pled not guilty to an information filed in Waterloo Municipal Court charging him with criminal trespass upon Waterloo school district property which resulted in damages exceeding $100. See § 729.3, The Code. Following his motion...
