Plaintiff was a career employee of defendant and brought this action under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, 29 U.S.C. 621, et seq. (the Act) alleging that his demotion in 1973 and his forced early retirement in 1974 were a result of discrimination based on age.
