Defendant was tried to a jury and found guilty of possession of less than 25 grams of marijuana, in violation of N.J.S.A. 24:21-19(a) (1), and the unlawful possession of a firearm on a college campus, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2A:151-41.1. His motions for a new trial and for arrest of judgment were denied, following which defendant was sentenced on the firearm offense to six months suspended, probation for three years and a $500 fine, and...
