FINDINGS

This is a suit brought under § 301(a) of the Labor Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. 185(a). Plaintiffs are labor organizations representing employees of defendant employed in its mines. Defendant is a mining company which employs about 700 members of plaintiff Unions and about 100 supervisory personnel who are not members of the Union.
