The defendant was charged with first-degree murder, MCLA 750.316; MSA 28.548, in the March, 1969, slaying of Frances Brown. He subsequently pled guilty to second-degree murder. MCLA 750.317; MSA 28.549. As part of the plea-taking procedure the plea-taking court elicited sufficient facts from the defendant to establish a factual basis for the defendant's guilt.
