The appellant, Calvin L. Dugan, was convicted of one count of first degree murder in violation of A.R.S. §§ 13-451, 13-452 and 13-453 and two counts of attempted armed robbery in violation of A.R.S. §§ 13-108, 13-641 and 13-643. He received a sentence of life imprisonment on the murder charge and a sentence of not less than two and one-half nor more than ten years on each of the armed robbery counts.
